- T-Claw calls for beginners and well seasoned dancers. T-Claw Calling strives to keep the moves accessible for a mixed crowd, and entertains with ferocious fervor. He is based in Tennessee. - There are contra dances in Paris in 2020 on February 1, 2020, 5pm-10pm, at Mairie du 14eme, 12 rue Pierre Castagnou, 75014 with Jeremy Child (caller) and Pas Vu Pas Pris (music); and March 21, 2020, from 5pm-10pm, at Fondation des Etats Unis, 15 boulevard Jourdan, 75014 Paris, Will Mentor (caller), Kathleen Fownes and friends (music). - Emily 'Rainbowface' Abel is currently located the Great Lakes states and is well-known for incorporating her calling into bands playing through song, for lending a great deal of energy and enthusiasm to events, and for thorough and concise teaching. Change in URL and location (December 1, 2019)

- The Hushpuppies have picked up elements of the sound of the bands on the old recordings, they've captured the feel of the music of the elderly fiddle and banjo players they visit and yet they still sound deliciously like themselves. - ContraForce is reported to play tribal psychedelic folk metal for contra dances branching out from Charleston SC. - The Old Farmer's Ball holds dances on Thursday nights at Warren Wilson College in Asheville and there is a separate weekly dance series at the Center for Art and Spirit, in Asheville, on Mondays, plus Callers' Collective events, family dances, roots contras, waltzes, and contra james each month. - Colorado, Fort Collins: The Friends of Traditional Dance host various waltz events throughout the year. New entry (November 23, 2019)

- May Heydays at Evesham is a folk dance weekend held in early May every year. It has an extensive program for contra dancers, often including American callers and bands. New entry (November 19, 2019)
- Contra Saskatoon holds dances dances on various (usually 1st) Saturdays during the non-summer months at the All Saints Anglican Church. New entry (November 7, 2019)

- Kathy Shimberg lives in Mt. - There are contra dances in Paris in 2019 on March 16, from 6:30pm to 10:30pm at Maison de l'Asie du Sud-Est, Cite Universitaire Internationale de Paris, 59B Boulevard Jourdan. - Clelia Stefanini has followed in her’s father’s footsteps quickly becoming outstanding on fiddle, guitar and vocals. She was first prize winner in fiddle at the 2013 Appalachian Stringband Festival in Clifftop, W. Virginia and is also an accomplished teacher privately and at music camps. - SPUDS is the pick-up band that regularly playsfor the Thursday Night Contra Dance held at the Commodore Barry Club in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- The Rum & Onions Band is the name of the band which, for many years now, has formed and rehearsed for several weeks in the fall to play at a Halloween contra dance organized by the Princeton Country Dancers. We have been joined in the past by many musicians from near and far. Instruments of all kinds are welcome: melody, rhythm, percussion. They also play at a few other events such as NEFFA. - Illegal Contraband is a contradance band with an emphasis on New England, Irish, and Quebecois dance tunes, they are just as likely to throw in everything from wild Klezmer music, swing, classical, and jazz to gentle Scandinavian waltzes. - Green Light Karma is a relatively new DC-area contra dance band, Green Light Karma is David Knight on fiddle, Andrew Marcus on accordion, and Dave Wiesler on piano and guitar. All three players are experienced dance musicians, as well as prolific tunesmiths, and Green Light Karma's music is at once driving and danceable, with a refreshingly different repertoire. - The Syracuse Country Dancers hold contra or English Country dances on 1st and 3rd Saturdays, Family Dances, once a month, before the 3rd Saturday contra and Dance Gatherings on 1st and 3rd weekends on Sunday afternoons. - Rich Sbardella resumed calling contras in 2014 after 23 years of calling square dances. He has called throughout New England, and as far away as Florida, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Nevada.
